[마감] Seminar: Research and Study Experience at a Top US University

Abstract:
Over the past half year, I have been a visiting student at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). In this talk, I will share my research experience at UCSD, how I secured this opportunity, and key takeaways from my time there. Additionally, I will compare US coursework and the academic environment with those in Korea, based on my firsthand experience.
This will be an interactive session conducted in English.

Bio:
Sang Yun Han completed his Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Yonsei University. His research focuses on Active Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (ARIS) in Microwave Integrated Circuits and Systems Lab under Professor Byung-Wook Min. During his time at UCSD, he participated in research on Exceptional Points and Coherent Perfect Absorption in the Applied Electromagnetics Group under Professor Daniel Sievenpiper.
